The private house is designed for a family with 3 children and is located in a newly built village of residential buildings, on the outskirts. The gable roof architecture of the building will be blend in between the surrounding houses.

The building is planned on 2 floors, respecting the family's desire for a room where they can spend their free time together. Reacting on this condition, the layout of the mansion is created centrally, all rooms facing the two level living room. Above it, the hallway on the second floor becomes an inner balcony, while the large windows on the first floor forms a dialogue with the outdoor space.
