The main idea of the project is to create a multifunctional, vibrant quarter while preserving the existing industrial feel of the area and adapting it to the new public function, adding a contemporary layer. Various amenities are planned to combine all the intended functions in the central courtyard, creating a direct link between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The concept solutions involve clearing the area of architecturally less valuable elements, such as unused buildings and extensions, while retaining the spatial atmosphere of the courtyard surrounded by existing volumes and topography.
