The main task of the new volume of the youth center is to fit it into the existing historical complex of forge and repair buildings on Kr. Valdemāra and Ostas streets, continuing the rhythm of the two-slope roof forms as well as the principles of the historical building of the fishing village.

Newly built a gallery-like connection is established between the historical and newly built volumes creates a connection between Kr. Valdemāra and Ostas streets, making a new place for outdoor public events with stair seats and a viewing platform on the volume roof.
